We’re looking for a Senior Commercial Advisor to join our clients high-performing team. In this role, you’ll shape some of the country’s most complex and high-profile water and infrastructure projects – from early investment decisions and business case development through to procurement, contract execution, and delivery.
Responsibilities include:
- Provide strategic commercial and transaction advice across the full asset lifecycle.
- Support government clients on complex procurements, including business cases, commercial models, market engagement, and contract negotiations .
- Lead or contribute to procurement strategy, bid evaluation, and transaction management .
- Build and review financial models , conduct commercial analysis, and assess value-for-money outcomes.
- Draft and review commercial principles, contracts, and negotiate to achieve strong results.
- Engage with government, delivery partners, and stakeholders to build trusted relationships.
- Identify and manage risks while ensuring strong governance and probity.
To be successful you will have:
- Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field.
- 5–10 years’ experience in commercial advisory, transaction management, or procurement , ideally in water or major infrastructure projects.
- Strong skills in financial modelling, negotiation, and commercial analysis .
- Proven ability to develop business cases and commercial advice .
- A background in consulting or the public sector is highly regarded.
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative, solution-focused mindset.
