$160k–$180k package + bonus + corporate benefits

An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Procurement Specialist to join a leading resources organisation supporting multiple mining operations across Queensland and New South Wales.

Reporting to the Procurement Manager, you will manage end-to-end procurement activities across Labour (Trades) and Services categories, driving strategic sourcing initiatives, supplier performance and commercial value delivery.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing sourcing strategies through spend and market analysis
  • Leading tendering, negotiations and contract implementation
  • Managing supplier relationships and contract performance
  • Partnering with operational stakeholders across the business
  • Delivering cost savings and continuous improvement outcomes

To be successful, you will bring:

  • Strong procurement and contract negotiation experience
  • Mining, resources or heavy industry exposure highly regarded
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
  • Strong analytical and commercial capability
  • Experience with SAP or similar ERP systems
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications, with CIPS highly desirable

Brisbane based role, with Newcastle also considered for the right candidate.
